RJ Reining Horses

Welcome to RJ Reining Horses, located in the foothills 40 minutes north of Denver. We ride and show beautiful APHA horses as well as rescue horses, ponies, and donkeys of all types!  RJ Reining Horses is now the home of One Horse At A Time Horse Rescue.

We also breed Angus, Black Baldy, and Charolais cross cattle and offer our all natural home raised beef to the public at reasonable prices. Jersey Black Giant, Barred Rock, Black Australorp, and many other breeds of chickens produce eggs and whole fryers for our farm and are sometimes available as well.

In 2011, we started milking dairy goats and maintain a herd of 4 nannies to milk.  We have 2 lamancha nannies, 1 alpine nanny, and 1 nigerian dwarf nanny.

Justin and Rainbow were both rescued at Centennial Livestock Auction in August of 2011. Justin weighed 735 lbs at rescue (approx 250 lbs. underweight) when he was discarded by the children's camp he had served for 18 YEARS. BOth Justin and Rainbow were adopted to new loving homes!
